Our activist pack will give you the tools to campaign for refugee rights.
It doesn’t matter if this is your first time campaigning or if you are a seasoned activist, the pack is here to provide you with everything you need to become an advocate for refugees. Gather your community together, organise at university or at work, or go solo. Your action has the power to change lives.
We’ll give you tips on writing to your MP, hosting letter writing workshops, panel events and how to turn your community into a place of sanctuary. And of course we’re here to help you every step of the way, so get in touch if you need any posters, leaflets or resources, or advice on how to get your campaigning off the ground.
By campaigning for us, you’ll be:
- standing up for the rights of people seeking safety
- challenging the racist hostile environment, and helping to shine the light on our work around racism in the asylum system.
- speaking up against inadequate housing for people seeking safety, calling for safe homes instead of hotel rooms or accommodation unfit for living in.
- asking for the Government to give people seeking asylum the right to work, for safe routes for people hoping to come to the UK, and a future where refugees are welcomed and treated with dignity.
